Meet Pam
Interior Designer & Picture Framer
Interior design has always been a passion of mine. What began as a childhood hobby stayed with me while I spent over two decades building a successful career in the stainless steel and aluminium industry.
Towards the end of that chapter, I felt a strong pull to do more of what I loved. I enrolled part-time with the Interior Design Institute and proudly completed my Diploma in 2017. At the same time, I was helping friends and family with renovations after hours—and it quickly became clear that this was more than just a passion.
In May 2018, I made a bold decision to step away from my role as Branch Manager and fully pursue a more creative path. I purchased a picture framing business, knowing there was a natural synergy between custom framing and interiors.
What I didn’t expect was just how much I would fall in love with framing itself. The creative process felt instinctive—like something I was always meant to do. Over the years, I’ve built a loyal framing clientele while continuing to work on interior design projects, bringing both together in a way that feels seamless and deeply rewarding.
I am also the owner of Mountain View Framing in Cape Town, South Africa, which continues to thrive under dedicated management.
In late 2024, I followed my heart once again and moved to Adelaide to be with the love of my life. Not long after arriving, I met Geoff Tolcher at Art Domain, which was soon to be sold—and before I knew it, another exciting chapter had begun.
Today, I feel incredibly grateful to continue this journey, working with both new and long-standing clients. I truly cherish the opportunity to make a positive impact through framing and interior design—helping people create spaces that feel personal, meaningful, and beautifully their own.

This project creates a personalized entertainment hub tailored to the client's passions. It integrates custom framed memorabilia and motorcycle displays with a functional dining area, ensuring the space is perfect for hosting next to the barbecue.
Colour Consultations
The client was navigating the challenge of decision paralysis amidst a sea of test swatches. My consultation focused on transforming the space from an aggressive, high-energy red to a sophisticated, soothing green. This was a strategic design choice, intended to foster a calm and professional atmosphere appropriate for an attorney’s law office.
By selecting this grounded hue, we established a serene foundation specifically curated to harmonize with future warm-toned furniture pieces.
Personalized Family Sanctuary
This living room update centres on creating a deeply personal and inviting atmosphere. The centrepiece is a thoughtfully curated custom gallery wall displaying cherished family photographs, adding both character and heart to the home. The space is grounded by a new, richly textured area rug and layered with bespoke scatter cushions, blending warmth with modern style.
Frequently Asked Questions
Conservation framing uses special techniques and materials to protect framed items from environmental damage. This method ensures the longevity and preservation of artwork by using acid-free materials and UV-protective glazing.
Yes. The Picture Framers Guild of Australia recommends two levels: Category 4 “Conservation” and Category 5 “Museum,” offering protection for 25 years or more. Visit the PFGA website for more information.
We use high-quality Tru Vue glass or acrylic, Crescent cotton matboards and acid-free foam core backing for superior protection. These materials prevent harmful UV rays and other environmental factors from damaging your framed piece.
The focus is on reversible mounting methods and inert (stable) materials that won't damage the artwork. This includes:

Archival hinging for paper artworks, allowing for expansion or contraction due to environmental conditions.

Mylar encapsulation or support for framed items where hinging isn't suitable.
Absolutely. We follow strict handling and storage protocols, with full insurance coverage and advanced security measures in place to protect your valuable items.
